The Russian Armed Forces would like to invite the Armed Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Islamic Republic of Iran, to join them in holding the first major exercise of the CSTO in several years.

The exercise will be held at <insert major Russian training grounds here>, with plans for the first preparations to start immediately, with a goal of eventually starting the exercise during the summer of 2015, with it lasting for two weeks, involving large scale maneuver exercises both by ground and air forces, along side smaller exercises in counter-insurgency and other low-intensity type conflicts.

The following nations are invited as participants:

Armenia
Belarus
Kazakhstan
Kyrgyzstan
Tajikistan
Uzbekistan
Iran

Russia is also extending an invitation for limited participation by China.


Russia eventually aims to make this an annual event, allowing the CSTO to practice cooperation of its military forces with regularity.

China would be happy to send observers, officers, and a small contingent of the People's Liberation Army to the <insert major Russian training grounds here> to both watch and participate as deemed acceptable by the Russian Armed Forces. China believes that it would be a boon for relations between China and all others involved.
