"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would like to address the subject with the Arab League that of the Vietnamese, Malay, and Bruneian convoy planned to embark to Gaza in defiance of the Zionist regime's blockade of the Strip in order to deliver direct aid to the Palestinian peoples. In particular, The Kingdom seeks to formulate an official, Arab-wide policy on the matter. Specifically, we request that the representative of Cairo weigh in on the subject, in light of the flotilla's necessary traversing of the Suez Canal and international calls for Egyptian authorities to either close the through-way or use its Navy to escort the ships safely and deter an Israeli response.
