hey johnr.... wow! that's a great project u have in mind! i've been toying with that idea too! FF orientation should work... its a sidewinder so it should do good like the MRs.

damn... been missing a lot of stuff here eh?

i'm too ashamed of myself coz i haven't gotten to start my A72 project once more.

Have you seen dpcars.net? You might find some inspiration from there. Just curious, what CAD program are you using?

It's FreeCAD 9a. It's downloadable over the web (just Google it), and is friendly enough to allow me to build 3d models. 3d graphical representation still needs work, though.

I'll moneyflies.gif on proper software (probably Solidworks) once I get to project # 2.

I saw one last night -- it belongs to a friend of mine. There are two boots -- one in front and one at the back. The back boot is height-shallow, but is horizontally-deep.

I also liked the idea of having the powertrain very low. Too bad I wasn't able to test drive it.
